Brush up on your tinkering skills so you have the confidence to ride further.  Spanner School is available at the weekend or over a couple of evenings so we can teach you the essentials to keep your bike problem free.

  • Punctures – wheel removal,locating punctures, fixing punctures & wheel refitting
  • Wheel truing ‐ essential for better braking
  • Brake adjustment for powerful, silent stopping
  • Adjusting hub bearings for maximum life and smooth running
  • Gear adjustment: including fitting new cables and fine tuning front and rear mechanisms
  • Bottom bracket and headset adjustment
  • Recommendations for routine bicycle servicing
  • Or even more advanced if you wish
