Bicycle tip of the week- work on cadence!

Whilst we can’t suggest the perfect number of pedal rotations for every individual, working out a good cadence for yourself and pushing yourself at a slightly higher cadence and improving on this helps efficiency and overall riding performance.

Some say a cadence of around 90 rpm (revolutions per minute) is ideal especially for those going on to serious training, others lower at 60 rpm.

Try working out the best for you, not always opting for slower rotations on the highest gears for speed.
